Located in the lower level of Flint Public Library, the Local History & Genealogy Room houses a collection of published materials dating back to the 19th century. The history collection focuses on the history of Flint, Genesee County and Michigan. The Genealogy Collection started with a gift from the Daughters of the American Revolution in 1905. The Library has grown that collection to be the second largest open stack genealogical collection in Michigan.
