Fabric can tell fascinating stories. Flint Public Library is home to storytellers of all kinds, and so we are pleased to once again welcome the Flint African American Quilter’s Guild for their annual exhibit on October 13-15.  The exhibit is open during regular Library hours.  Don’t miss the special presentation by quilter Lauren Austin on Saturday, October 15 at 2:00pm. Austin has been quilting fiber art and art quilts for over 30 years. She has taught in the U.S. and China. She has worked as a U.S. diplomat in Latin America, as a human rights and civil rights lawyer.  Don’t miss this wonderful chance to learn about the artistic talents of your community.
