Rotary is a global network of 1.4 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change.  The Rotary Club of Flint was organized in 1916 and has worked for more than 100 years to support the local community.

Rotarians seek to strengthen the capacity of communities to support basic education and literacy, reduce gender disparity in education, and increase adult literacy. Flint Public Library is an essential resource for engaging people of all ages in the joy of reading.  It is especially important for families with young children, offering programs, books, story times and much more to help build early literacy skills.  The Rotary Club of Flint chose to invest in the Library renovation as a way to promote and extend the Library’s benefit to the entire community.
