Everyone is welcome to join in as Flint Neighborhoods United meets to share information about what's happening in neighborhoods, exchange ideas, and get vital information from civic and community organizations. 

Let's read, talk, sing, play, count and write together. Ideal for ages 0-5 years.

Learn basic genealogy concepts and research skills with librarian Sarah Brooks for searching Hispanic family history. In collaboration with LatinX Center. Registration required.

Have costumes that your child is no longer loving? Have they outgrown their old favorite character? They might be perfect for someone else! Donate your new or gently-used, washed costume, sized 0- 12, to our Costume Swap.

UM-Flint’s Community Writing Center, the Rough Draft Café, provides writing support services to community members.

In partnership with the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, and with the support of Genisys Credit Union and The Friends of the Flint Public Library, Gloria Coles Flint Public Library now hosts a food pantry for all patrons.

Combine the fun brick-building of LEGOs with the exciting world of coding. No experience necessary. The building blocks were provided by a generous donation from Friends of the Gloria Coles Flint Public Library.

Miss Marcia weaves yoga, movement, breath, and stories. Children will build positive body awareness, mindfulness and self-regulation while enjoying wonderful stories.

Join an intergenerational book club for 6-10 year olds and their grands (-mas, -pas, -aunts, -uncles, -neighbors). We will have dinner and a new book each meeting for you to keep. Extended activities also provided.

Join TAB to give librarians guidance about better serving teens and creating library programs, then stay and test your knowledge on random topics chosen by the Teen Advisory Board.
