Event Details

We welcome Little Amal, the 12-foot puppet of a 10-year-old Syrian refugee child at the heart of Walk with Amal, an international journey that has become a symbol of human rights, especially those of refugees. Her walk is a festival of art and hope that draws attention to the tremendous number of children fleeing war, violence, and persecution worldwide.

 

Schedule of Events:

5:30 - 6:00: Community Gathering and Meal Sharing

6:00 - 6:30: Paper Dolls, Friendship Stones, and Storytelling

6:30 - 7:00: Artistic Expression and Performance

7:00 - 7:30: Walk with Little Amal (from Central High School to the Library)
