Great Michigan Read Author Visit - Curtis Chin

Join us for an engaging evening with author Curtis Chin as we celebrate the 2025–2026 Great Michigan Read selection, Everything I Learned, I Learned in a Chinese Restaurant. In his heartfelt memoir, Chin shares stories of growing up in Detroit’s Chinatown while exploring themes of identity, family, community, and belonging. This author event with Curtis Chin is part of the Great Michigan Read spring tour. The 2025–26 Great Michigan Read is presented by Michigan Humanities.
