Let’s read, play, sing, talk, count and write our way through summer. Practice the parts of early literacy with us. Have lunch and make new friends with us on the beautiful library lawn.

Explore your world through gardening. Have fun learning about the environment and develop your ability to grow your own food. Ages 8-12 in coordination with Michigan State University Extension and 4H.

Join us for an interactive drama workshop with our friends from the Flint Community Players. Kids ages 8-12 work together to build improvisational skills, storytelling abilities and use the library stage to put on fast and fun plays!

Learn about seasonal produce and how to transform it into a tasty snack.

Join an intergenerational book club for 6-10 year olds and their grands (-mas, -pas, -aunts, -uncles). We will have dinner, dessert, and new books each meeting for you to keep. Journals and extended activities will also be provided.
