@ TEEN ZONE
FLINT PUBLIC LIBRARY, FLINT, MICHIGAN

When: Every 3rd Tuesday of the Month
What Time: from 3:30 - 5:00 pm
Where: Flint Public Library, Room 205

We are a group of young writers (mostly high school students), who meet monthly to express our thoughts and feelings through writing, and who endeavor to improve our writing and explore why writing is so important in our lives.

We like to: workshop our writing, organize events like poetry slams, take field trips for inspiration, do writing exercises, hold writing conferences, bring in authors, publish our writing on our E-zine, view performances of poetry or fiction, share authors we enjoy, share our own writing, talk about what inspires us, learn about publishing and contests, encourage each other, help each other improve, and enjoy one another's writing.

See profiles of some of our members in the new Flint Young Writer's Directory!
