Athletic Achievement: First Team All-Big Nine Linebacker,
Honorable Mention Big Nine, All State 148 tackles in one season, 21
tackles in one game, team MVP-2 years, Honorable Mention All Big Nine
for baseball, two years, team MVP all four years. Team MVP for baseball
in 1994 and 1995, Hustle Award, Sportsmanship Award and team captain
for three years. Team defensive player for football in 1994-1995, Sportsmanship
Award and had most tackles in county for 1995.
Scholastic Achievement: Maintained over a 3.8 GPA
throughout four years in high school. Twice won the Youth Optimist
Student of the Week. Beecher High School Citizenship and Scholastic
Award. All-District Academic Baseball Team, two years. Listed in "Who's
Who Among American High School Students in 1994, 1995, 1996.
Extra Curricular Activities: Peer mentor for two
years, student council for one year, National Honor Society and National
Youth Leadership Council for two years, member of Student School Improvement
Committee for two years. Attended the Youth Leadership Conference and
King/ Parks/Chavez Multi-Cultural Conference.
Other Information: Works for Beecher Community School
District in the Athletic Department.
Future plans: To graduate from Beecher High School
in the top of his class. Hopes to attend college on a football scholarship,
but if not, he will attend a four year college. Kevin will major in
Sports Medicine and then obtain a masters degree in Physical Therapy.
