Michigan Department of Education has created grade level content
expectations, standards, and benchmarks for certain content areas
and grade levels. Click "Curriculum & Instruction" on
the left-hand side of the page.
GLCE provides Michigan K-8 educators with a means to better align
what is taught in the classroom with what is tested in the classroom.
Academic standards and benchmarks clearly define what students should know
and be able to do at certain points in their schooling to be considered proficient
in specific academic areas.
Michigan Merrit Curriculum defines a common set of required
credits for graduation and provides educators with a common understanding
of what students should know and be able to do for credit.
GLCE: K-8 Content Expectations:
