Library 150 year logoThe Flint Public Library serves residents of the City of Flint, Michigan, and the surrounding area through a Main Library, three branch libraries and a Bookmobile.

The Main Library, with its extensive reference department, research collections, local history and genealogy collections and 50,000 volume Children's Library, provides vital information access for our community. The Main Library's meeting areas serve as an important community gathering place and allow the library to hosts lectures, concerts, author visits, and other community events. More about the Main Library here...

The three branch libraries provide library and information services to neighborhoods in West Flint, North Flint and the Cody School area (south Flint). The Bookmobile brings library services to day care centers, senior living facilities and neighborhood centers.
