The beautiful new mural on the east side of the Library was designed and painted by nationally recognized Flint artist Kevin Burdick. The Library commissioned this work in partnership with the Flint Public Art Project.  It depicts the emotional connection community members have to the treasure that is Flint Public Library.  As you explore the details, you will see many illustrations depicting ways in which this Library is a beloved resource for community members to learn, to remember, and to engage with each other.  We are thrilled to have this stunning work of original art in the courtyard of our renovated building!
